With a BA in Math from Duke University and a MA in Math Education from Hunter College, Achyut has 10 years of experience teaching middle school and high school math, most recently at the Trinity School in Manhattan.  Performing traditional Hindustani music for his own students at these schools inspired Achyut to marry his two passions -- education and Hindustani music -- by sharing his art with a broader student audience.
